Quiet Retreat Near Loch Morlich
great location friendly staff
The location is perfect. It is a short walk to Loch Morlich's beach. Staff members were very friendly. I found the facilities to be well kept. The surrounding area is beautiful.
The lock for the common toilets had broken down. This happened unexpectedly. It would be nice if the pod entrance faced an open area.

equipped pod working heating loch proximity unfriendly staff payment confusion limited space
the pod had a fridge, microwave, kettle, and other helpful items. the heating worked well, so i was cozy during the night. the play area was a hit with my daughters, and we appreciated the proximity to the loch.
the bar staff were not very friendly when i arrived, this was disappointing. i had already paid, but a young lady asked me to pay again. there was not much space to sit, so i returned to the pod after eating.

great location short walk
the location impressed me. the pod included a fridge, microwave, and kettle. i liked that the heating kept it warm. my daughters enjoyed the nearby play area and the short walk to the beach on the loch.
the cost felt high for a very basic accommodation. the space is small. bathroom facilities are not close to the pods.

dog friendly good walks fridge sauna closure energy bill permanent closure
the location offers wonderful walking opportunities. the pod had a fridge and a microwave. i also appreciated that the facility was dog friendly.
the staff mentioned the sauna was out of service. i had visited this same place a couple of years prior, and the sauna was also 'broken'. i think it may be turned off permanently to cut down on energy costs. the sauna should be removed from the hotel page if it is closed permanently.
